Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

The International Food and Wine Festival is a yearly event held at Epcot. For 6 weeks of the year, Epcot's World Showcase turns into a complete food and wine fair, bringing foods from around the world. 

Epcot International Food and Wine Festival - Entrance

The festival includes small kiosks positioned around the World Showcase, each serving a selection of food and drink from different countries. However it doesn't just stop here. Guests can visit the Festival Center and pick up a Marketplace Discovery Passport, and visit a number of special events. 

The special events usually include high quality cuisine, cooked by some of the best chefs in the business. Throughout the festival are a number of signature dining experiences, culinary demonstrations in addition to nightly musical performances from popular hit-makers.

The former Wonders of Life Pavilion is converted into the Festival Center, and holds daily seminars and events.

2014 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

The 2014 festival will kick off on September 19 2014, ending on November 10 2014. This year the festival is longer than it's usual 6 week period, starting a week earlier than normal.

Celebrity Chef Presentations

Returning in 2013 were a range of celebrity chef presentations, located in the Festival Pavilion (aka the Wonders of Life Pavilion). Chefs included Warren Brown, Paula DaSilva, Gale Gand, Jamie Deen, Robert Irvine, Dean Max, Rock Harper, Jeff Henderson, Art Smith, Buddy Valastro, Allen Susser, "Cake Boy" Eric Lanlard, Duskie Estes, John Stewart, Donald Link, Bryan Voltaggio and Emily Ellyn.

2013 Food and Wine Festival Welcome Center

As part of the festival, Disney convert the closed 'Wonders of Life' pavilion into the Festival Welcome Center. This is located between Mission: SPACE and the Universe of Energy (turn left after you go past Spaceship Earth and follow the signs to the Welcome Center).

The center is open daily from 9:00am to park-close. There is an information desk inside the building, which is open from 9:00am - 7:30pm. You can visit the information desk to get answers to any questions, and to get your Marketplace Festival Passport Completion Stamp.

Inside the Welcome Center you'll find the culinary demonstrations, mixology seminars and beverage seminars. There is a wine cellar and usually several displays with information. Parts of the festival center close during seminars, howevet you can generally still visit the wine cellar and any other displays around the pavilion.

2013 World Showcase Marketplace Kiosks

Throughout the World Showcase there are 29 'kiosks', serving unique cuisine from all over the world. The items offered usually range between $4 and $8, however some alcoholic drinks and specialty items may be slightly more expensive. Most items offered at the kiosks can be purchased using a single Disney Dining Plan snack credit.

2013 Eat to the Beat Concert Series

During the Food and Wine Festival, regular concerts are held at the America Gardens Theater in the World Showcase. The concert series features artists such as Survivor, Air Supply, Boyz II Men, Smash Mouth and Hanson. The full schedule for shows in 2013 was as follows:

HGTV Stars

Visit the Festival Center during selected periods to meet some of HGTV's top designers.  Various designers will be making appearance. In the past there have been many seminars, some of these included:

Special Dining Experiences and Events

This year features four new special Food and Wine events. These special dining experiences carry an additional charge and have limited availability. Both a theme park ticket and bookings are required for all Dining Experiences. Call 407-WDW-FEST to make a booking.

Marketplace VIP Access Chef Tour

A walking tour "around the world" with festival chefs. Learn how the marketplace menus are created, and sample 5 preselected for items and 5 preselected beverages. Guests also receive a cookbook as part of the tour.

Where: Festival Center, Spotlight Stage
When: Wednesdays at 10:30am.
Length: Approx. 2 hours.
Cost: $90 per person, plus tax. No gratuity.

The Magic of Health Living Dinner

Enjoy a fun and family-friendly evening with Celebrity Chefs and fathers Andrew Zimmern, Bryan Voltaggio and Micael Voltaggio. Guests will be treated to a four-course meal, non-alcoholic beverages and tips on how to provide a healthy and flavourful meal from three of the world's most adventurous eaters! There will also be a special appearance from Driscoll's® Only the Finest Berries™ expert nutritionist, Wendy Bazillion.

When: Friday, October 19, 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Kitchen Memories

A 3-course lunch which "evokes joyful kitchen memories". As part of the experience, a Celebrity Chef demonstrates how to prepare an appetiser, main course and desert. A winery representative pairs each course with a selection of wines.

Epcot Wine Schools

A comprehensive program led by a prestigious wine expert, learn all about distinctive wine cultures, test a variety of regional wines and receive a certificate of completion at your celebratory reception.

When: Select Sundays, Classes from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, and a light reception from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.

Italian White Truffle Lunch

Savor 5 courses, all incorporating white truffles imported directly from Alba, Italy. Each course is paired with a Batisiolo wine from Piedmont.

Party for the Senses

An elegant party where your evening begins with a reserved seat at the Eat to the Beat concert series, with musical performances from either 5:30pm or 6:45pm. Then wander among more than 50 tempting tasting stations at World ShowPlace Events Pavilion. You then choose from three different experiences:

Wine View Lounge: Enjoy a private reserved table, entrance into the World ShowPlace Events Pavilion 15 minutes before general admission, a specialty cocktail toast to begin your evening, a premium bar, an artisanal cheese station and more. Check-in at Wine View Lounge check-in podium at World ShowPlace Events Pavilion. Prices are $270 per person, plus tax. Gratuity included.

Reserved Seating: Enjoy a reserved table on the main floor, entrance into World ShowPlace Events Pavilion 15 minutes before general admission and a specialty cocktail toast to begin your evening. Check-in at Wine View Lounge check-in podium at World ShowPlace Events Pavilion. Prices are $170 per person, plus tax. Gratuity included.

General Admission: Enjoy all of the sights, sounds and, of course, tastes that Party for the Senses has to offer as you explore more than 50 tasting stations throughout the event. Limited seating is available as you dine and sip your way through the evening. Check-in at World ShowPlace Events Pavilion. Prices are $145 per person, plus tax. Gratuity is included.
