MyMagic+ 'Touch to Pay' testing at Table Service restaurants later this month
May 6th 2013 at 15:43The 'NextGen' MyMagic+ wrist bands will be used for 'Touch to Pay' testing at table service restaurants, boat rentals and other mobile locations.
Testing will start later this month, starting with Disney's Contemporary Resort's "The Wave" restaurant during the last week of May. Guests will be able to touch their RFID Key to the World card (and eventually, the MagicBand) to the cast member's mobile reader. You then enter your pin number and the transaction will be completed.
The new system will also be able to be used for Disney Dining Plan snack credits.
