Restaurant Cancellation Policy to come into effect on Nov 19

Nov 15th 2013 at 8:40

The delayed restaurant cancelation policy that was due to roll-out across Walt Disney World last week has now been confirmed to be coming into effect on November 19, 2013.

The new policy will mean that if a dining reservation is not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, and you fail to show up for your booking, you'll be charged $10 per person. This is something many have felt is needed as there are too many gusts making reservations at every restaurant, and then failing to show up for the bookings.

This will however cause minor annoyance for guests who don't wish to have their vacation schedule tied in to a strict routine to ensure they get to their reservations on time.

The policy has already been used at select resort locations, however from November 19, 2013 it'll take effect across all table service restaurants within the Walt Disney World Resort.
