Polynesian Resort's Nanea Volcano pool closing for extended refurbishment in August
Feb 17th 2014 at 11:51In August, the Nanea Volcano swimming pool at Disney's Polynesian Resort will be closing for an extended refurbishment as part of the ongoing construction work for the new Disney Vacation Club Villas.
The refurbishment appears to be fairly significant, with an estimated opening date being vaguely set as 'some time in 2015'. The pool is located fairly close to the area where the new DVC Villas are being constructed, so it's likely being closed both for a refurbishment, and on safety grounds whilst the bulk of the construction work is completed.
