Magic Kingdom media day for Seven Dwarfs ride - attractions closing early

On May 1st and 2nd, the Magic Kingdom will have reduced operating hours around much of the new Fantasyland area, as part of a media event for the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride.

On Thursday, May 1 select areas inside the New Fantasyland area will close early for preperation work for the media event. This will include the following attractions closing at 5:00pm:

  • Ariel's Grotto
  • Bonjour! Village Gifts
  • Gaston's Tavern
  • Hundred Acre Goods
  • Storybook Treats
  • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
  • Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid

Some walkways between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland will also be closed, however cast members will be on hand to re-route guests.

On Friday, May 2 the following attractions in Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland will not open until 11:00am:

  • The Barnstormer
  • Big Top Souvenirs
  • Dumbo the Flying Elephant
  • Pete's Silly Sideshow
  • Tomorrowland Speedway

In addition to this, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor will not open until 12:15pm
