Polynesian Village at Walt Disney World Resort

Disney have announced that the Polynesian Resort will be rebranded, and renamed to the Polynesian Village, returning to it's original name that it was given when it opened in 1971.

The resort is currently being partially renovated as part of the addition of the Disney Vacaction Club Villas. As part of the renovation works, the resort will be given a makeover, and all signage will be changed to reflect the new name.

Once complete, the resort will feature new food and beverage location, Trader Sam's Grod Grotto. It'll be based on the popular themed lounge at the Disneyland Hotel in California, and will feature the Polynesian theme found in the rest of the resort.
