Winter refurbishment dates for Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach announced
Aug 28th 2014 at 8:33Disney have announced the dates of the annual closure of the two water parks; Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
Both parks close for a period of approximately 3 months during the winter to allow for the pools and slides to be drained and cleaned.
Both parks do not close at the same time, so there's always at least one water park open. The closing dates for the upcoming winter are as follows:
- Typhoon Lagoon:
- Closes October 26, 2014
- Reopens January 3, 2015
- Blizzard Beach:
- Closes January 4, 2015
- Reopens March 15, 2015
