Disney's Pop Century resort is another Disney Value Resort. Despite being one of Disney's lowest cost resorts, it still manages to offer the full magic of Disney, with amenities and rooms that non-Disney owned budget resorts of the same price wouldn't be able to provide.

Pop Century is themed as a salute to many of the 20th century popular culture crazes. The resort is split into five differently themed areas based on the 1950s, '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s. The themed buildings feature many fun designs, such as stairs designed to look like bowling pins and giant play-doh pots and yo-yo's.

Disney's Pop Century Resort Recreation

The Pop Century Resort features three outdoor pools heated at 82 degrees. The main pool is the "Hippy Dippy pool" and is 235,000 gallons. It's located next to the 1960's building and right next to the main Classic Hall building, which houses the food court and main lobby area.  The pool is shaped to look like a big flower with four flower showers on the pool deck area.

Next to the Hippy Dippy pool is The Hippy Dippy Kids Pool, a zero entry level small pool with fountains in the center.

The pool bar is located at the main pool.

The second pool is the "Computer Pool", and is considered to be a quiet pool. It's shaped to look like a computer monitor and is located in front of the 1990's buildings.

The third pool is the "Bowling Pool", and is also considered to be a quiet pool. It is located in front of the 1950's buildings and is designed to look like a giant bowling pin.

There are no hot tubs at this resort. As with most Disney pools, there are showers, lockers and restrooms in each pool area.

The pools are open from 8am - Midnight with a lifeguard present between 10am and 10pm.

Note that you will need to bring your towels from your room - if you need additional towels you can call  housekeeping from your room phone (free) and they will bring them to your room for you.

Disney's Pop Century Resort Transport

Pop Century doesn't share a bus line due to its size. This means that when you board a bus it'll go directly to the location specified on the front of it, instead of via another resort. Guests are given a transportation guide and map when they check in, with instructions on how to get to any on-site location.

If in doubt, guests can ask a cast member or one of the bus drivers who can assist.

Disney's Pop Century Resort Dining

The resort doesn't have a table-service restaurant, however it does have a large counter-service food court called "Everything Pop Dining", which offers a bright and spacious dining area and a huge selection of foods, each split into their individually themed stations.

Some of the items offered include pizzas, rotisserie chicken, pasta, barbecued ribs, sandwiches, salads, baked goods, fruit and more. Take a look at our detailed menu for the End Zone Food Court for a run down of whats offered.

There is also a poolside bar, "Petals Pool Bar" which offers a continental breakfast, sandwiches, and snacks in addition to beverages.
