Tom Sawyer island is accessed via a motorized raft piloted by a Disney cast member, these run every few minutes back and forth to the island. Once there you can explore the island as your own leisure. This is a great place to unwind and ket the kids run around while adults take a break!
There are a number of fun areas around Tom Sawyer Island such as a barrel bridge, a working water wheel, caves and numerous other buildings.
The island is based on the novel "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and is surrounded by the Rivers of America where you'll regularly see the Liberty Square Riverboat circling the island.
