Fantasmic! to gain extra seating capacity
Sep 10th 2012 at 7:30Disney have announced that the Hollywood Studios late night show, Fantasmic! is to recieve an additional 1000 seats of capacity.
The popular show currently seats 6900 guests and 3000 guests standing (which is rarely used). The standing areas at the rear of the amphitheater are to be converted into a large seating area for 1000, bringing the total seating capacity up to 7900.
It is unknown when the work will start, which is likely going to require the show (or at least a section of the seating) to be closed.
