This weekend Hollywood Studios' Toy Story Mania will be running the new FastPass+ system. In addition to this, the neighboring Soundstage One building has just become a construction zone, possibly as part of an expansion to the popular Toy Story ride.
The ride's always suffered from long wait times due to it's popularity, and now it looks like it may be getting a third track to increase capacity.
We'd heard unconfirmed rumors as long as 2 months ago that there were plans to expand the ride to handle more guests, however usually this involves tweaking ride speeds and lengthening queue areas. However with Soundstage One now off limits to cast members, and officially designated as a construction zone, it looks like the ride will expand and get a new track or two.
Soundstage One has been a bit of an oddball of a building, with sporadic use over the years. Most recently it was used for the Frozen Summer Fun's Wandering Oakens.
