You enter into Africa through the small fictional village of Harambe. Harambe means “come together” in Swahilli. The village name is based on the Harambe Wildlife Preserve, another fictional name used in Africa’s main attraction, Kilimanjaro Safaris.
Kilimanjaro Safaris is a fantastic attraction. You board an open ‘bus’ style vehicle and are taken out into a working wildlife preserve, where you’ll see Lions, African Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos and more.
Africa also has the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, a calm walk-through area where you can view Hippos, exotic Birds and Gorillas to name a few.
Africa has five dining locations. Tusker House is probably one of the best restaurants in the park with an all you care to enjoy selection of carved meats, salads and deserts, all served with an African touch.
There are two primary shops in Africa; Duka La Filme (Camera shop) and Mombasa Marketplace, selling traditional African gifts.
