Sunset Boulevard is where you’ll find everything you could possibly want at Hollywood Studios. This section of the park features the best attractions in addition to some great dining locations. It is located to the right of the park and can be accessed by going up Hollywood Boulevard and immediately right.
It is designed to look like a movie set of a typical 50’s Miami street, and pulls it off very well with palm trees along the sides of the road and shops to match the theme.
On the left of Sunset Boulevard there are a number of great restaurants and fast food locations, such as Staring Rolls Café, serving some of the best pastries in Disney World, Fairfax Fare, serving French fries and beverages and Catalina Eddie’s, serving salads and deli sandwiches.
Attraction wise, you’ll find the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Starring Aerosmith, a high speed in-door ‘road trip’ with twists, turns and loops set to classic Aerosmith music. You’ll also find The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, where you drop 13 stories as your ‘lift car’ is pushed down faster than the speed of gravity. The ride is completely randomized each time it runs.
In addition to the two thrill rides, there also two shows, Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage, a 30 minute musical Broadway-style show, and Fantasmic!, the nighttime spectacular, staring Mickey Mouse himself, with laser lights, dancing fountains and fireworks.
