Epcot's Character Spot set to close for major refurbishment soon
Oct 16th 2012 at 17:29Epcot's Character Spot, located in the west-wing of the main FutureWorld buildings is set to close for a major refurbishment. The work could start as soon as this Sunday, with the character spot being completely re-Imagined.
A reopening time of early 2013 has been mentioned, with a likely date being in mid February. During the closure, it's expected that Disney will position the characters around other locations in Futureworld, such as in the unused areas in the Innoventions buildings, and at the front of the park.
Characters that can be found at the Epcot Character Spot include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy and Donald Duck.
