Continuing on from both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios is the latest park to offer free park-wide Wifi internet access.
This is part of Disney's "NextGen" technology which is currently being rolled out across the parks and resorts. Initial speed tests show the wifi speed to be very reasonable, with speeds averaging around 5mbps on it's launch day. We expect that the speeds will stabalize over the coming weeks, and if they end up being similar to both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom Wifi, speeds will be between 7 and 9mbps on average.
As with all Disney wifi access points, the service does limit 'questionable content' fairly strictly.
Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach are the only three parks left to receive Wifi, with Animal Kingdom expected to have it in most areas by the end of October. It could however prove to be more of a challenge as it's the biggest park, and has a lot of tree coverage which may cause problems with wifi signal quality.
