Splash Mountain to close for a 77 day refurbishment in early 2013
Oct 11th 2012 at 16:24Disney have announced that one of the Magic Kingdoms most popular attractions, Splash Mountain will be closing in early 2013 for an almost 3 month long refurbishment.
The attraction will be closed from January 2 through to March 19, reopening on March 20, 2013.
Splash Mountain generally gets a refurbishment every January, however it usually lasts around 3 weeks. This longer refurbishment could be an indication that some of the larger problems with the attraction may be fixed, along with minor updates.
