RFID Door locks being added to The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness from next week

Nov 8th 2012 at 11:54

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are set to be the next resort rooms to get RFID door locks.

Disney have been adding RFID locks to each resort over the last few months as part of their 'NextGen' upgrades. The new locks allow guests to simply touch their "Key to the World" room key on the door lock, instead of inserting the card into a slot.

The work will begin next week, and should be complete towards the end of the month. This will not have an impact on guests staying at The Cabins as the work is generally done between guest checkins.
