Maintenance to replace Main Street U.S.A concrete starts today - limited disruption expected
Jul 23rd 2013 at 6:05Main Street U.S.A is getting a new concrete surface over the next 2 months and work starts today.
Between now and late September, sections of Main Street will be closed off for resurfacing work. The work starts today and will mean that the lower end of Main Street, near the entrance to the Emporium will be sectioned off.
The resurfacing works will no doubt cause some issues with the daytime and evening parades that pass down Main Street, however it's expected that the majority of the work on the road surface will take place overnight, and the sidewalk areas will be done during the day to minimize the impact on guests.
