New dining reservation policy goes into effect from tomorrow

Oct 30th 2013 at 8:21

We reported a while back that Disney was changing the dining reservation policy to include a charge for no-shows that aren't canceled in advance. This goes into effect tomorrow.

The new policy is designed to ensure that people don't abuse the reservation system. Disney will be requiring a credit card when a reservation is made, and if you decide to cancel you must notify them at least 24 hours in advance. If notice is not provided, the credit card will be charged a fee of $10 per person.

This policy has already been in use at select locations across the resort, but from tomorrow will be applied to all table service restaurants. This does also apply to those on the Disney Dining Plan.
