FastPass+ tests now being done with non-resort guests

Mar 24th 2014 at 11:01

Disney have opened up FastPass+ testing to guests staying off-site.

The OrlandoParksNews blog reports that one of their readers contacted them, confirming that a cast member asked them if they were returning to the parks, and offered to do their FastPass+ reservations. Here's the full quote from the OrlandoParksNews.com blog:

We were [at the Magic Kingdom Park] on Tuesday and went in to get Fastpasses. On the way out a [Cast Member] with an I-pad asked if we would be visiting the parks on subsequent days and whether we were staying on- or off-property. Since we were off property, she told us we could go back into the FastPass+ area to a certain desk and they would get us set up to be able to reserve FastPasses for the rest of our stay (up to 7 days from that day).

They signed us up and we were able to do it! I felt lucky AND it worked really well. We had no problems with the system or the FastPasses working with our cards. Thought your readers would like to know.
