Advisory: Special event on May 1st at Disney's Hollywood Studios

As part of Disney's Hollywood Studios 25th anniversary celebration, there are several events and changes that will affect guests visiting the park on May 1st, 2014.

The events being hosted include:

• Rededication Ceremony: 10:00am
• Anniversary Motorcade: 7:00pm
• Anniversary Firework Show: 9:30pm

​​During the day, special anniversary merchandise will be on offer at Sound Stage 1. In addition to this the park, and parking lot are expected to be extremely busy, so guests not attending specifically for the anniversary event would be advised to pick another park for this day.

In addition to the events, the rear-entrance to the parking lot will be closed to all guests from 3:00pm, meaning you will need to use the main entrance (on World Drive). Additional signage will be in place to direct traffic to the correct entrance.
