Throughout April, Disney's Animal Kingdom will take part in Earth Month, with a range of special activities and events as part of it's Party for the Planet event.
The activities are themed around nature, the Earth and of course, Animals. Here's the lineup of just some of the events. It's likely that new events will be added with little to no notice.
April 13 - 26: At Rafiki's Planet Watch, guests can take part in face painting and have a drawing done by a caricature artist. Both will be bear-themed to celebrate Disneynature's new "Bears" movie, which will be in theaters on April 18, 2014.
April 21 - 23: Across the park, kiosks and shops will be selling green Earth-friendly merchandise to highlight the materials and products that are sustainable to the planet.
up to April 30: A themed limited edition Duffy the Disney Bear safari-costume will be sold throughout Disney's animal Kingdom, and $1 for each sale of the costume goes to the National Park Foundation, via Disney's Worldwide Conservation Fund.
The full range of activities is still trickling through, and as previously mentioned, it's likely that additional events will be held without much notice.
