The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wolderness Resort, and Disneys Fort Wilderness Resort Campground are set in the 750-acre wooded resort, with lush pine and cypress trees around the cabins. Guests can bring their own RV to this spacious wooded RV park, or hire a cabin.
The cabins themselves are log-built and feature an American Frontier theme. There are walking trails all through the wooded area, and the resort provides a very calm and relaxing environment, away from the noise and bustle of the parks.
The resorts huge size means its advisable for guests to hire a golf cart for moving around the resort.
Each cabin has its own raised deck with an outdoor table and chairs. A barbecue is also provided. The interior of the cabins are spacious and are decked out in wooden furniture. The cabins have a single bedroom, with a double bed and bunkbeds. There is a pull-down double bed as part of the sofa in the living room.
All cabins have a fully equipped kitchen, comprising of a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, cooking utensels, dishes, glasses, cooking equipment, etc.

Guests have full access to all Fort Wilderness areas. This includes two pools, 4 playgrounds, pony rides, horseback riding, tennis, jogging trails and more.

Movies Under the Stars - Every night Disney movies are player outside on a big-screen projector near the pools or on the beach.
Tri-Circle-D Ranch - A guided tour on horseback, carriage or wagon through the lush natural wilderness of Central Florida.
Wagon Rides - An old fashioned horse drawn wagon takes you on a 45-minute tour of the most scenic spots of the Fort Wilderness Resort.
Marina with Watercraft Rentals - You can rent Sea Raycers, kayaks, pontoon boats, canoes, sailboats and pedal boats and take them out onto Bay Lake!
Wilderness Back Trail Adventure - A 2 hour tour of the Fort Wolderness Resort on offroad Segway Personal Transporters.
Holiday Sleigh Ride - Offered nightly during December, a 25-minute horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
To get around the Fort Wilderness Resort, golf carts may be hired. These can only be used in the resort, and cant be used to drive to individual parks.
Transport to parks is provided via Disney busses. These stop at multiple locations throughout the resort, so you'll never have to walk too far to find your bus stop. Busses will then take you on to the different parks.
If traveling to the Magic Kingdom, a boat service operates daily which takes you right to the entrance of the park. You can also get a resort boat to get to other resorts around Bay Lake.

Trail's End Restaurant is a casual buffet dining location offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring American down-home cooking and hearty vittles. Menu items include pan-seared catfish, angus chilli cheeseburger, fresh berry salad with chicken and spicy grilled shrimp and andouille sausage.
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review is a nightly old-fashioned dinner show with hand clappin', knee-slappin' music and comedy, set in this rustic diner. The food is of an all-American family dinner fair.
Mickey's Backyard BBQ - is an all-you-care-to-eat outdoor picnic set in the middle of the covered, open-air pavilion. A country-western band performs while you eat, and there is line dancing, rope tricks and kid-friendly fun. Disney characters are regularly part of the show.
Crocket's Tavern is an outpost lounge, offering a light selection with pizza, nachose and specialities from a full-service bar.
