The Tree of Life is not technically an attraction, it's the parks centerpiece. However there is a short walkway area around the side of the tree where a Disney cast member is present to answer questions. Kids will love being able to see all the different animals carved into the tree. Its worth taking the time to look around and see just how much time and effort has gone into it's construction.

Around the tree is the 'Discovery Island Trail' which is basically a footpath around the tree, with exotic birds and wildlife to see around it. There are Cotton-top tamarins, Saddle-billed storks, Galapagos tortoises, Asian small clawed otters, South American capybaras and green-winged macaws.
