The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is one of Hollywood Studios primary attractions. Located at the far end of Sunset Boulevard, guests enter an outdoor queueing area which is mostly covered and around the sides of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, which hosts the attraction.
The queue takes you through the front doors of the hotel, and then on to the hotel's Library. The doors of the Library will close and the room goes pitch black. A black and white television in the room turns on, and Rod Sterling begins talking to you. He tells the story of the Hollywood Tower Hotel, and how on one night, just like this one something terrible happened in the hotel.
With that, the screen goes black and a flash of lightning is seen around the room, before the doors to the library open and leave you in another queue area in the hotel's basement. From here you'll be directed to your service elevator by a member of the hotel's staff, where you'll fasten your seatbelt, and be taking on a ride, in the Tower of Terror.
The ride is now 100% random too, meaning that no two rides will be the same.
We wont give any more away as we wouldn't want to spoil the surprise, but this is a must do. Just be sure to read the health warnings and consult a cast member if you have any doubts about riding.
The Tower of Terror is one of Disney's top attractions, so pretty much always has a long queue. If you dont wish to spend a long time waiting, get a fast pass early in the morning. If you plan on riding on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, grab a fastpass for it before queueing for Tower of Terror as by the time you're done you'll likely find its time for your fastpass return.
