Astro Orbiter takes you spinning high above the Magic Kingdom in Buck Rogers style rocket cars. In essence, this is a slow loading carnival ride where the ride cars fly in a circle. It is basically Dumbo the Flying Elephant but with different shaped cars, and much higher up. You get a fantastic view from here however those with a fear of heights should skip this one.
The biggest flaw with this attraction is the loading. You have to go up a lift in small groups to get to the ride so queueing can be a tedious task.
Much like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, you can move the ride car up and down using controls in front of you.
