There are two ways we could describe "it's a small world". The first is as a delightful boat ride featuring over 300 audio-animatronic dolls in bright outfits in the style of children of the world. The second is as a ride that endures migraines and imbeds the theme tune into your mind forever.
It's A Small World is an attraction that you'll either love, or hate. On the one hand it's theme of global piece combined with those cute little dolls is simple great. On the other hand is the repetitive tune that no matter what you do, will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
The young kids will love this ride, the older kids and teenagers, not so much.
It's A Small World is one of the parks original attractions and was actually created by Walt Disney and his team of Imagineers as a tribute to the children of the world for the UNICEF pavilion at the 1964-1965 World's Fair. After the World's Fair ended, the attraction was moved to Disneyland in Anaheim, where it remains to the day. It was copied as a near replica and placed into the Magic Kingdom and saw its first guests on the park's opening day.
It's an attraction that you'll want to see at least once, but that a lot of people wont visit again unless they have young kids with them and a set of ear plugs!
