Epcot 30th Anniversary Events Announced
Sep 19th 2012 at 15:12Disney have just announced what events will be on offer for Epcot's 30th Anniversary, on October 1, 2012.
The Disney Parks Blog announced that there will be presentations, a "special moment" at the American Gardens Theater in the World Showcase, and a special anniversary tag at the end of Epcot's nightly firework show, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.
The following panels will be open to all Epcot park guests, however Disney have warned that there will be limited availability:
- 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Designing The Future - Past and Present: A panel of Disney Imagineers remembers 30 years of building tomorrow!
- 4:30 - 6:00 pm - Epcot: How it Changed the World with Marty Sklar
- 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Epcot: How it Changed the World with Marty Sklar
A special 'anniversary event' will also be held at 3:00 pm at the American Gardens Theater, which will feature appearences from Disney dignitaries and include performances from the Voices of Liberty (limited seating) and Mariachi Cobre.
To conicide with the 30th Anniversary, a selection of Epcot memorabelia will be on offer, including T-Shirts, pins and badges.
