PHOTOS: 11 World Showcase vintage T-Shirts launched for Epcot's 30th Anniversary

Disney have just announced that as part of Epcot's 30th anniversary on October 1st, 2012, they will be selling 11 new vintage T-Shirts, one for each country around the World Showcase.

The new T-Shirts are priced $24.95 each, or can be purchased on the official Disney Online Store for an online-exclusive price of $225.00 (plus tax and shipping) for the entire set. The T'Shirts will be on offer at each of the World Showcase Pavilions from September 28. Online purchases will be available from September 28 to October 4.

Roger Dressin, the product developer for the World Showcase said:

"For this milestone, we wanted something that would be a tribute to the heritage of World Showcase," explained Roger. “We worked with artist Richard Terpstra to create these 11 designs that were based on original artwork from Walt Disney Imagineering created in the early 1980s."

Richard Terpstra was also the artist for the Dole Whip and churros T-shirts that were introduced earlier this year.

"The shirts are made from a tri-blend fabric which has a soft, lightweight feel that is popular in the marketplace,” continued Roger. “The images were distressed to give the shirts a worn, vintage look, almost like they came from a 1980s closet."
