PHOTOS: Characters in Flight reopens at Downtown Disney
Oct 5th 2012 at 12:26After several months of closure whilst checks were being performed on the attraction, Characters in Flight has now reopened. The balloon ride takes you up 400 feet into the air over Downtown Disney, with views up to 10 miles.
The attraction closed back in July when a similar attraction in Hong Kong suffered a loss of helium and fell 20 meters. The attraction operators dismantled the characters in flight balloon for inspection and to ensure that any possible issue was resolved prior to it resuming service.
Tickets prices for the attraction are:
- Adults: $18
- Children (ages 3-9): $12
