Construction work to begin on the new Festival of the Lion King Theater in Africa
Mar 7th 2013 at 6:03Work on a new Festival of the Lion King Theater is said to be starting imminently in Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
The show, currently located in Camp Minnie-Mickey is to be relocated to a new location in the Africa area of the park. The existing theater will remain open until the new one is complete.
This is the second location in Camp Minnie-Mickey to be moved. The area is rumored to be the location of the planned AVATAR land, so the relocation of most of Camp Minnie-Mickey's attractions would indicate that the plans for AVATAR land have finally been finalised, and a plan put in place for the construction.
