Upcoming pool refurbishment at Disney's Saratoga Springs Grandstand Pool

The Grandstand Pool at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will be closing later this month for refurbishment.

The pool is due to close on August 25, 2013 (Sunday). The reopening date has not yet been confirmed.

Disney have placed a notice in guest rooms informing them of the refurbishment:

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa Members and Guests,

Welcome home to the Walt Disney World Resort! We are honored you have chosen to stay with us as our Guest, and we hope you enjoy the Victorian charm and equestrian flair that makes Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa so distinctive.

To ensure we continue to deliver the very best Disney experience, it is necessary for us to make enhancements from time to time.

As part of these efforts, the Grandstand Pool area will be closed for refurbishment beginning Sunday, August 25, 2013.

While we work our magic, we invite you to enjoy the cascading waterfalls of the High Rock Spring Pool, located near The Carriage House, or the delightful waterslides and spas of the Paddock Pool area. You can also explore the leisure pools located at Congress Park and the Treehouse Villas.
