Camp Minnie-Mickey at Disney's Animal Kingdom closing in 2014
Oct 14th 2013 at 8:38As work on the new AVATAR Land at Disney's Animal Kingdom is due to start soon, Disney have confirmed that Camp Minnie-Mickey will be closing in 2014.
AVATAR Land is due to occupy the space that the closure of Camp Minnie-Mickey will make available, as well as extra space to the left of the park.
Festival of the Lion King, currently shown daily at Camp Minnie-Mickey will be relocating to a new theater currently being built in Africa. Other character meet and greets will be moved around the park to new locations.
AVATAR Land is due to open in 2017.
