More parking changes now in effect at Downtown Disney

There are yet more parking changes starting at Downtown Disney today as part of the ongoing construction work for the new Disney Springs project.

Disney are testing new parking options based on feedback from guests after the last round of parking changes. These new tests will include the following changes coming into effect:

Between now and May 31, 2014 the shuttle service from Team Disney to Cirque du Soleil will be canceled, and instead Cast Members will direct guests to the cross walk and will assist any guests with mobility issues.

In addition to this, effective immediately (and in effect for the foreseeable future) valet parking will now be in the Marketplace area, in Lot C. The service will be $20 per car, matching the price of the valet service in the West Side parking lot. Traffic coming into Downtown Disney will be alternated through entrances 1 and 2 depending on demand for the valet service. There will be cast members and new signs in place to direct guests.
