Thousands of people are currently trying to get reservations for the Be Our Guest Restaurant. Reservations opened at 7:00 am this morning. As with their other popular dining locations, Disney are requiring all reservations to be done with a credit card guarantee. We've had reports that there are some issues with the automated reservation system not asking for a credit card. If this happens, there is a possiblity that your reservation will be cancelled within 24 hours as it will show as invalid and be automatically removed.
Because of this, we're advising that if you are not asked to enter your credit card details, that you hang up and try again, or contact Disney directly for assistance if you've already gone through the reservation process.
At the time of publication, there has been no official word from Disney as to the cause of the problem or when it may be resolved.

Road works have started on Epcot Resorts Blvd, and the road will be closed in both directions at the Epcot water bridge from today through to September 1 2012. Guests heading to the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will need to use the entrance at the Swan and Dolphin instead of the one on the Boardwalk Inn side.

Guests are reporting that Disney have now enabled thier new complimantary Wi-Fi at Typhoon Lagoon.
As we announced a few weeks ago, Wi-Fi is now available at the Magic Kingdom, and is being rolled out across all parks over the next few months as part of Disney's "NextGen" system, allowing guests to use their smartphones around the park for internet access. In the near future, it'll be possible to get fastpasses for attractions via your smartphone when in the parks.

The check-in area for Bay Lake Towers has always been inside the contemporary resort. This is in part due to the Magical Express not stopping at Bay Lake Towers and instead stopping at the Contemporary Resort next door. However from tomorrow (August 20 2012) guests will be able to check in and out at the Bay Lake Towers Lobby.
Guests arriving by car or taxi can go directly to Bay Lake Towers. Guests on the Magical Express will still arrive at the Contemporary Resort's main building.
In addition to check-in and check-out, the lobby desk will also be providing dining reservations, recreation, ticket sales and planning assistance. The desk will be open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily.

Disney have released a set of what it calls, 'Signature Images' of the new Fantasyland. These are artist renders, and bear a clear resemblance to the previously released concept artwork, but with a much more detailed finish, showing the final design and position of the attractions.
The three images show the much publicised view from Cinderella's Castle as well as Belle in front of Maurice's Cottage and Ariel sitting at Ariel's Adventure at Sunset.

Disney have announced a new Phineas and Ferb interactive activity, to be launched at Downtown Disney West Side next month.
From September 1 2012, guests can visit 'Phineas and Ferb & YOU - A Brand New Reality', an augmented reality activity allowing guests to interact with Phineas, Ferb, Dr Doof and Agent P on a screen, augmented with images of the guest.
Guests will be able to experience any one of 20 different interactions, from dancing "The Platypus Walk" to getting caught in Dr. Doof's Freeze-inator. Guests can then digitally share a complimentary souvenir photo with their family and friends.
Additional Phineas and Ferb merchandise will also be available.
This new attraction is completely compimentary and will run through to December 1. Opening times are 2:00 pm - 9:30 pm daily.

Disney is expected to resume trialing its "NextGen FASTPASS+" system in September. A limited number of tests were carried out with a new RFID FASTPASS system back in May. It's expected that this next round of tests will be more extensive and will use the new WiFi system currently being rolled out across the theme parks.
This will in turn allow Disney to use the FASTPASS system with their recently launched "My Disney Experience" smartphone application. The end result will mean that guests can get a FASTPASS from their phone, without having to go to a FASTPASS distribution terminal at a single location.
The NextGen WiFi system is currently available in the Magic Kingdom, and is expected to be available in other parks over the coming months. This next round of tests may signal that the WiFi rollout will be completed , ready for September.

Magic Kingdom's popular "The Magic, The Memories and You!" show is to close on September 3 2012 and is to be reworked into a completely new show.
The new show is expected to use the same projection technology that made the current show so popular, and is expected to debute in time for the 2012 holidays.
Whilst the original "The Magic, The Memories and You!" show has recieved a number of updates and changes since it's launch in early 2011, this will be the first major change and is expected to also include a new name.
